“Auntie Cottage” is a charming Bahamian retreat—affectionately described as “Kitchi”—designed for a woman or couple who values a relaxed, authentic lifestyle over glitz and excess. From the moment you arrive, the setting makes an impression: sweeping views stretch out over Levi Island, and each evening the sky transforms into a canvas of unforgettable color. In fact, “awesome” was the word the contractors themselves used back in 2011, when they stood on the newly completed subfloor at the end of a long day, taking in the very same breathtaking sunset. Also known as Sunset Cottage, this thoughtfully designed split-level home offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms across approximately 1,750 square feet. Built in the traditional style of a Bahamian out-island cottage, it exudes a quaint, cozy atmosphere that feels both timeless and welcoming.
